Today, we had Adam and his son out with us for a half day nearshore charter. They had a nice catch of false albacore – quite a few tasty dinners there. The nearshore boats that did extended half days were able to get out a bit further and had some nice king mackeral. Today was a great day offshore. We ended up with a super nice yellowfin tuna tipping the scales at 115. A true butterball. We ended up the day with a some yellowfin, a nice wahoo and some mahi. Awesome Fishing the Past Few Days
The past few days have been really great! On Thursday, we had Jarred and the guys out for a nearshore trip. Kept the guys busy on the spanish mackeral and bluefish. On Friday, we had Mike and friends out offshore. We had a nice catch of yellowfin tuna and mahi. We lost quite a few to the sharks and had a few that were not big enough – the weather finally became our friend and looks like it will remain friendly for a while. It was a little bumpy out there today, but our guys hung in there and ended up with a nice catch. Lots of action, both inshore and offshore. Its a great time to get out there and have some fun.
This afternoon we had Rod and the gang from Ohio out with us. Jefferson and Bolden had a blast! Its always a great day watching the kids excitement. We love having the kids fish with us.
