Today we had Ron and the boys out with us. What a great day we had. These guys were a blast to have on the boat for the day. On our way out, we stopped and fished for some tilefish. They started off biting quickly and then just as quick, shut down! We then continued offshore and found the mahi school and the fun began. We ended up having a nice catch and alot of fun.

On Tuesday, we had Brian and the family out for a fun day offshore. The tuna were jumping all over the place, however, they were not cooperating at all. They had no interest in anything we tried. We headed to the tilefish grounds and caught a nice group of tiles and a nice wahoo. Days like today are why the call it “fishing”. On Saturday, we had the O’Conner family from Illinois out with us. They were on an Extended half day trip and as luck would have it, the mahi were only about 14 miles off today and we had enough time to get to them. The kids had a blast bailing mahi and catching some nice kingfish. What great memories this family will have. We love having family trips and introducing kids to fishing. The last few days have been a blast offshore here on the Outer Banks! We have had some great people out fishing with us and some great fish caught.
